UGM Graphics Ideation

UGM is an annual user meeting event hosted by HCSS to interact with its exisiting and potential customers and users. Brainstormed design options and ideas for headline graphics and produced print materials to be handed out to attendees.
Branding

UGM, the event name, was branded using the top 3 product colors (green, blue, and orange). To give the logo depth and movement, gradient and shadow was applied for visual play to avoid flat, unappealing design. Hierarchy in text size and weight were considered for sub-headline to further hint and elaborate ‘UGM’ event identity without overpowering the main logo design that was to remain dominant.

Graphics

Using the 2022 UGM motto, “Empower Every Employee”, graphic emphasis was put on the word “EMPOWER” in color variations from the palette of product brand colors. Image cutouts of working employees decorate the keyword and visually stays loyal to the event motto. The 2nd variation uses grayscale cutout images to bring color focus to keyword for accessible visibility through distinction of text colors.
Asset design

All supporting graphics for both digital and print materials follow UGM brand guidelines using the same color palette, typography, graphic patterns, and visual style. Below is an example of trading cards (print material) that were made to dedicate to each HCSS product using brand colors, font, shape patterns, and cutout images.
